Platycerium are commonly called Staghorn ferns due to their wonderfully, unique, antler shaped leaves. They make fascinating houseplants and look particularly effective as a hanging plant once the fronds get long enough to start trailing.
Light: Bright, indirect light. artificial light works well also
Water: water by soaking the plant or running the shower over it, let it drip dry, the stag horn fern also benefits from regular misting.
Temperature: Average room temperatures.
Feed: Use a complete liquid fertiliser occasionally during the growing season.
