Marantas provide color and texture for lower-lit areas in your home and are excellent air purifiers. This family of houseplants gets its name ‘Prayer plants’ because light changes will cause the leaves to rise upwards like two hands praying
Light: they'll do well in low light, but they prefer to be in medium indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as this will fade the plant’s color and burn the leaves.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry.
Temperature: Household temperatures above 18°C don't put them near draughty doors or windows during the winter months
Humidity: Prayer plants love humidity, placing them on top of a tray filled with pebbles and water or grouping them together can help.
Feed: Use a half strenght solution of liquid fertiliser during the growing season
